WHO WE ARE?
SK Leonard is a recruitment consultancy working within the Public and Private sectors. Our role is to source, assess and submit suitably qualified candidates to our client companies. Our services include, but are not limited to, the interviewing and submission of candidates, updating existing users of our services, carrying out background checks and providing a back-office payroll solution. All services are governed by human intervention and are not reliant on any totally automated assessment.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU?
Any details that you may submit will be stored by us and will be accessible by employees of the company.
Candidates: We collect and use only the information necessary to be able to find the best available opportunities and any further information needed to assess your eligibility through the different stages of recruitment. This information includes CVs, identification documents, educational records, work history, employment and references and financial information. We may also collect sensitive personal data about you, related to your health, diversity information or details of any criminal convictions of, data collected from social network sites where the data subject has put this information in the public domain. We only collect sensitive personal data from you, and further process this data, where you have given your explicit consent.
Clients: We collect and use only the information necessary to provide you, or people in your organisation with services such as finding the best available candidates for your opportunities.
Other data subjects: We collect and use only the information necessary to be able to contact you and pay you for the services you provide.
The personal data we collect will be used for the following purposes:
- Assessing the data subject’s suitability against a job role using past experience, education and relevant skills to carry out the specific or related vacancy.
- Reviewing against all vacancies that may be of interest to the data subject.
- For the purpose of interviewing a candidate.
- Submitting a candidate to the client we have discussed and gained consent.
- Submitting a candidate that has been vetted (Background checks/Right to work)
- Encrypted storage of information which is relevant and up to date.
- Providing candidates with a third-party payroll solution
- Sharing data with relevant third parties to meet the needs of Clients, Candidates and Suppliers
Our legal basis for processing personal data:

- Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with the data subject or to take steps to enter into a contract.

Client Data
When working on behalf of a client, we will need to collect and use information about individuals in an organisation. This will include, but is not limited to name, position, contact details and relevant information to carry out services such as sourcing candidates to a brief or for notifying you of other services likely to be relevant and useful.
How we use your information
This privacy notice tells you how we, SK Leonard, will collect and use your personal data for the services of a recruitment consultancy acting on behalf of our clients to source and identify suitable candidates for vacancies we are working on to a given brief. We will use your information to carry out this service and to also manage complaints, subscriptions and profiling.
Why does SK Leonard need to collect and store personal data?
For us to provide our clients and applicants with the best possible service levels we need to collect personal data for correspondence and security purposes and to enable us to identify suitable roles that applicants may be interested in and suitable for at any time. In any event, we are committed to ensuring that the information we collect, and use is appropriate for this purpose and does not constitute an invasion of your privacy.
In terms of being contacted for relevant marketing purposes SK Leonard Personnel would not need to contact you for additional consent.
Will SK Leonard share my personal data with anyone else?
As a recruitment consultancy, we may pass your personal data on to a client company working with SK Leonard during dealing with you. Any third parties that we may share your data with are obliged to keep your details securely, and to use them only to fulfil the service we have outlined. When they no longer need your data to fulfil this service, they will dispose of the details in line with SK Leonards’ procedures. If we wish to pass your sensitive personal data onto a third party we will only do so once we have obtained your consent, unless we are legally required to do otherwise.
How will SK Leonard use the personal data it collects about me?
SK Leonard will process (collect, store and use) the information you provide in a manner compatible with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We will endeavor to keep your information accurate and up to date, and not keep it for longer than is necessary. SK Leonard is required to retain information in accordance with the law, such as information needed for income tax and audit purposes. How long certain kinds of personal data should be kept may also be governed by specific business-sector requirements and agreed practices. Personal data may be held in addition to these periods depending on individual business needs.

What forms of ID will I need to provide in order to access this?
SK Leonard accepts the following forms of ID when information on your personal data is requested: Passport, driving license, birth certificate
CV SUBMISSION
Your CV will only be accessible by SK Leonard employees and will only be sent to prospective employers with your prior consent. You should ensure that your CV and any other details held by us about you remain up to date, and we recommend that you update your CV every six months.

Personal data is protected from any unauthorised access using the latest in physical, electronic and managerial procedures in order to safeguard the information collected.
