SK Leonard Advisory

Independent advice. Change that lasts.

We help organisations understand what is happening, decide what to do and see it through. Discovery and research, change and transformation, learning and capability, and AI adoption, delivered by a small senior team with specialist associates. Independent, evidence led and sized to the job.

What We Do

Four services,
one way of working

01

Discovery, Research and Evidence

When you need to know what exists, what is missing and what to do about it. We design and run surveys, interviews, focus groups and landscape reviews, assess the quality of what is already out there, and bring the evidence together in a concise report with options and a recommendation. We work with your subject experts rather than pretending to be them.

For: public bodies, charities and membership organisations commissioning research; leadership teams facing a decision.

Typical outputs

  • Landscape and desk reviews
  • Needs assessments
  • Stakeholder research
  • Options reports with a recommendation
  • Quality frameworks
  • Evidence bases and dashboards you can keep updating
02

Change and Transformation

Over 15 years of leading change in the NHS, utilities, higher education, retail and automotive. We build the case, design the operating model and run the programme, with the stakeholder engagement and governance that keeps it on track. Digital or not, the hard part is always people.

For: organisations with a change to deliver and no large internal transformation team.

Typical outputs

  • Business cases
  • Operating model and process design
  • Programme and project delivery
  • Stakeholder engagement plans
  • Benefits tracking
  • Independent assurance
03

Learning and Capability

Training that busy, operational and customer-facing people will actually complete. Working with specialist learning and development associates, we run training needs analysis, design content with the people who will deliver and receive it, prototype and test it with real staff, and hand over editable products with train-the-trainer guides and a quality standard.

For: organisations building capability at scale across sites, partners or a network.

Typical outputs

  • Training needs analysis
  • Learning design and co-design
  • Prototypes tested in the workplace
  • Facilitator and train-the-trainer guides
  • Self-serve storyboards
  • Quality frameworks
  • Roll-out plans
04

AI Workforce

Practical, people-first AI adoption: where you are now, what to build first and how to make it last. Readiness assessments, roadmaps and change support with no vendor agenda.

How We Work

Small team.
Senior people.
Specialist associates.

01

Evidence first

We start by finding out, not by assuming. Every recommendation traces back to what we found.

02

Built with you

Joint analysis before the report, a decision before any build, testing before anything is called final. No surprises.

03

Sized to the job

A director leads every engagement and does the work, with associates brought in for specialist depth. You get the people you met.

04

Independent

No technology partnerships, no referral agreements, no products to sell.

Where We Work

Public, charity and
private sector

Public sector and charities

NHS bodies, local government, national charities and membership networks, research commissions and training programmes.

Private sector

Owner-led and mid-market businesses navigating growth, operational change and AI adoption.

to find out or change.

Most engagements start with a conversation and a short scoping note. No commitment.
